Thank you for playing "SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI Liberation Dx2".
Thanks to your continued support, we were able to introduce a major update as part of this game's 4th anniversary celebration last month.
With the introduction of DEVICON, as well as some improvements to existing functions and features, I feel like we have been able to take a more novel approach to this game. We plan to keep bringing you new features while also listening to your input regarding any parts of the game that may be causing you trouble. We hope to keep bringing you new updates as we make improvements so that you can continue to enjoy this game.
In this letter, details regarding the latest info for future updates has been included.
◆2/9 - Deceit 13 to be added
This will be the first addition to Brands of Sin in quite some time, but Deceit 13 is scheduled to be added during the update on 2/9.
Deceit will be featured in this update, but we also plan to add Sloth 13 and Vanity 13 during future updates.
We have become aware of certain users needing more of a challenge as they have been power farming the level 12 Sins, and these will aim to fulfill that requirement as they will be significantly more difficult.
In accordance with this difficulty boost, Brand drops will be limited to 6★ rarity, and you will be able to efficiently acquire powerful Brands.
Level 13 Sins were originally scheduled to be added after new Enhancement functions and Brand adjustments were implemented, which resulted in some time passing before now. More are now scheduled to be added so we ask that you stay tuned.
* Please note that there are still several Brand adjustments that we would like to implement in the future.
◆2/9 - Improvements to Skill Switch in Transcend to be implemented
We have received several questions and comments regarding the Skill Switch Panels found in Transcend.
We apologize for not taking more of these ideas into consideration while developing this feature and will be making adjustments to meet as many of your needs as possible.
To start, we will be improving the overall functionality of this feature and updating Panel effects as part of these adjustments.

◆Event Quests scheduled for improvement in late February
It has come to our attention that the Normal, Hard and Hell difficulties for Event Quests are not all that different from one another in terms of their actual difficulty levels. We are also aware that higher difficulty levels do not reveal any special stories and how players have been made to play them somewhat needlessly.
Although this may seem sudden, as part of our efforts to reduce the overall gameplay workload that is placed on players, we will be removing Hard and Hell difficulties from these Quests in late February.
Due to the quick action being taken for this matter, the Quest List will appear as follows and greatly appreciate your understanding for the time being.
* Following removal, we will be monitoring players' reactions and responses to gauge whether or not to reimplement and further optimize these difficulties.
Hard and Hell difficulties for Event Quests will be removed, but the total amount of Gems that may be obtained from clearing these Quests will remain the same.
Event Items and EXP that can be obtained on Normal difficulty will now be the same as the amounts that are attainable on Hell difficulty to compensate for any losses.
◆Regarding other future update info
Despite having just recently celebrated the 4th anniversary of this game, we as a team are still working very hard to bring you even more updates and content so that you the player can continue enjoying SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI Liberation Dx2.
Although we cannot discuss much of the details regarding these just yet, we are planning to add a new type of Event that revolves around "humdrum mannerisms".

How has Ver.5.0.00 been going for you since it was released on 1/19?
This was actually the first major update that was built from the ground up since Iwasaki and Yamaoto took the position of Directors of this game.
The featured addition from this update, DEVICON, was even born out of a simple idea that went along the lines of, "People who really love SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI should be able to just show how much they appreciate their favorite demons!"
We thought that we could use the online nature of this game to allow players to casually show off their own demons and even get glimpses of what others have done.
While we also understand that there is much more work to be done, we hope that Transcend as well as major changes to the UI and some Brands have led to considerable improvements being made for this game.
