The choice of the protagonist in Chapter 12 releases the back route.
[10/27 Update]
If you have cleared story quest Chapter 12 Epilogue 16 before this data update, the epilogue that leads to the back route of chapter 13 will be automatically released.
Also, if you have already cleared Chapter 12 Epilogue 16, the story after the battle in Chapter 12 Epilogue 16 will be skipped.
Skipped stories can be read back from the "Rewatch Story" function.
